After tons of multiple leaks, rumours and reports, it looks like Google is going to take the wraps of the Google Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat officially earlier today. Before the launch goes live, many more images of Nexus 5, and even 4.4 KitKat has hit the web. The most leaked among both is none other than Nexus 5, which has already started reaching stores, not just in US and Canada, but even UK's major handset retailer Carphone Warehouse has received its batch of Nexus 5 phones, confirming the smartphone to go on sale shortly after its announcement.

As of now, the update seems to be currently live in India, Indonesia, Philippines and parts of Europe.

October 15th was considered as the date when Google will announce the next-generation Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 officially. Unfortunately, the rumour was false, forcing us to think when exactly Google will launch these stuffs officially, and it looks like KitKat is giving some hint for the answer. KitKat is teasing the Android 4.4 on their social media channels from a long time, and after investigating the recent teasers, it came out that Google will officially announce the Android 4.4 on October 28th along with Nexus 5, and doubted Nexus 4 LTE.

Google announced the next-generation Nexus 7 tablet this year in July at an event held in San Francisco. The new Nexus 7 tablet is a major upgrade over it's predecessor, in terms of specifications, looks and features. The Nexus 7 2013 was officially announced on July 24th, and on the next day Google India's page sported a "coming soon" tag, which is still the same. Update: Korean Media ET News is reporting that the upcoming Galaxy S5 will be water and dust resistant, unlike the Galaxy S4 Active which is the rugged version of original Galaxy S4, with downgraded specs. This is similar to Sony's strategy of releasing it's flagship devices water and dust resistant, like the Xperia Z and Xperia Z1.

As per their report, Samsung has ditched the 20nm architecture work and is currently working on a 14nm chip. Recently the latest build of Android 4.4 KitKat screenshots were leaked on the web, and a new video has popped up which shows off the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 in detail, quite a bit of detail actually as the video is Full HD and 7 minutes long. The build of KitKat inside the video is older than the one leaked by TuttoAndroid. And the Nexus 5 inside the video is a early prototype, considering there's no Nexus branding on the back.
