Samsung has officially introduced a new Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini variant in Russia today. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S4 Black Edition and Galaxy S4 Mini Black Edition, the smartphones comes in black colour with a faux leather back, similar to what we can see on the Galaxy Note 3.

After so many rumours and leaks, Samsung has officially unveiled the neo version of the Galaxy Note 3 called as Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo. The Note 3 Neo is the long rumoured budget version of the Note 3. HTC has silently announced a new smartphone in the Desire series. Dubbed as HTC Desire 310, the smartphone is the successor of Desire 300 and was spotted on the company's European website, before the listing was pulled down. Samsung launched the Galaxy Gear in India in September 2013 for Rs. 22,990. And after four months since launch, the company has officially dropped the price of the smartwatch to Rs. 14,999. LG announced its first curved display smartphone, the LG G Flex in India in December 2013, where the company announced that the smartphone will go on sale in India sometime in February 2014, with no hint on pricing. Oppo has officially entered the Indian smartphone market today with the introduction of its flagship phablet, the Oppo N1. Oppo announced the N1 in India at an press event held in New Delhi today. HTC is working on a new Desire series smartphone which will be powered by MediaTek's true Octa-Core processor, reports ePrice. The smartphone will feature a simple design and will be released in multiple colour options (images below), including orange, red, blue and yellow. ePrice reports that the smartphone would be priced at less than 2,000 Chinese Yuan, approx. Rs. 20680, and will be a part of company's Desire line-up.

Samsung Galaxy S flagship smartphones are the most anticipated ones from the Korean smartphone maker. The next generation of the smartphone, the Galaxy S5 will debut in March this year and the latest word on the street is that the same will come with a fingerprint scanner similar to what we first saw on the iPhone 5S.

In addition, Eldar Murtazin from Mobile Review, is reporting that the hotly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S5 will be announced on February 23. If you don't remember, he's the same guy who predicted the date for Galaxy S4 launch correctly.

Nokia Normandy is the only Nokia smartphone every Android site is talking about. The largest online retailer in Vietnam, The Gioididong, has posted a listing for the Nokia Normandy. Intex is ready to launch two new mid-range Android smartphones in India in the coming days along with four new entry-level smartphones. Dubbed as Intex Aqua Curve and Aqua i15, the smartphones are found listed on company's official website and are a new addition in the Aqua series.

Along with two new Aqua series smartphones, Intex is also gearing up to launch four new Cloud series smartphones, these include Intex Cloud Y12, Cloud Y11, Cloud X11 and Cloud X1+.

Update: Evleaks has posted another image on Twitter, showing what appears to be the second wallpaper option for the HTC M8 aka HTC One Two. The resolution of second wallpaper is the same as first wallpaper, which is 2160x1920 pixels.

In addition, @evleaks has also tweeted saying that, HTC M8 will be the first HTC smartphone to feature on-screen buttons. No more details are know at the moment.

Last year in October, Micromax revealed that it will be launching its devices in Russia and Romania in 2014. Micromax has now announced that they have started their operations in Russia by launching new Canvas and Bolt smartphones in the country. Micromax has launched two Canvas smartphones, the Canvas Beat A114R and the Canvas Social A94 in Russia. The smartphones are the variants of Canvas 2.2 and Canvas MAd, which are already available in India.

Yesterday we showed you some images and a video showing new colours for the Nexus 5 getting ready to soon be published on the Google Play Store, which later on were labeled as being fake. And now, a new Nexus 5 model has posed in front of the camera somewhere in Vietnam. The model was wrapped in red colour, rather than in black or white, which reveals that Google is indeed going to launch new colour/s for the Nexus 5.

After so many reports, Motorola has finally revealed that Moto G launch details for India will be announced on February 5th, 2014. We are not sure if Motorola will actually launch the phone on February 5th or will just announce the launch details. XOLO has officially launched a new mid-range Android smartphone in India today. Dubbed as XOLO Q700S, the smartphone was recently spotted on eBay India for sale. Few weeks ago we saw the first screenshots of Samsung's next-generation TouchWiz user interface and today @evleaks has leaked a new set of screenshots which suggests that Samsung is planning to integrate a cards-based home screen in the next version of its user interface. This cards-based home screen shows contextual information similar to Google Now. 

In related to the news, The Korean Herald is reporting that Samsung is skipping the iris scanner technology for the Galaxy S5, and focusing more on fingerprint scanner.

We have been hearing about HTC One's successor codenamed M8 from a long time. The smartphone was first reported to launch as HTC One Two, later on a new report suggested that it won't be called One Two, but One+. Now, Bloomberg is reporting that the One Two (for now, since the name is not yet final) will be launched in March, following an MWC debut in late-February.

Sony announced the Xperia Z1 at IFA 2013 in Berlin. Weeks after the announcement, news about Xperia Z2 started to arrive on the web. The Xperia Z2 is codenamed Sony Sirius and was expected to debut at CES 2014, unfortunately Sony didn't announce the smartphone there.
