Samsung has just launched the Galaxy S5 Active and it is now working on a rugged version of its Galaxy Tab 4. But the thing with the Galaxy S5 is that it is the flagship smartphone and getting a weather-proof version of the same makes a lot of sense. But Samsung plans on bringing the weather-proofing on a budget and has just applied for a trademark with the name of Galaxy Tab 4 Active in Norway.

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Tab S series of the tablets on June 12th and it will be launched in two screen sizes which will be 10.5-inches and 8.4-inches. These are going to be premium ones and the details of the Tab S 8.4 have been leaked courtesy of a listing on the AnTuTu Benchmark database. Samsung has started rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to its devices due for an upgrade and it is being tested to be rolled out for mid-ranger. Samsung is working on bringing it to low end devices too and is also working on the Android 4.4.3 update. The update will be brought to some of the high end devices to start with and update with build number KTU70 on the to-be-announced Android’s version is being tested on the Galaxy S5 in both its guises and the LTE-A version of the Galaxy S4.

Update: An alleged press render of the upcoming Nokia X successor, dubbed as Nokia X2 has been surfaced on Chinese forum Baidu. The press image shows the Nokia X2 (or whatever it will be called in final) with a back and home capacitive buttons along with front facing camera and a two-tone rear cover (green and orange). 

In addition, AnTuTu score of Nokia X2 reveals that the smartphone will come with a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB RAM opposed to 512MB on Nokia X and 4GB internal storage.
