Along with Xiaomi Mi 5, Xiaomi has also announced the successor to Mi 4i at a launch event in Beijing, China. Called Xiaomi Mi 4s, the smartphone bridges the gap between mid-range and high-end smartphones with its powerful specs and affordable price. The Mi 4s sits somewhere between Mi 4 and Mi 5.

Xiaomi at MWC 2016 has officially announced the launch of the successor to Xiaomi Mi 4. Dubbed as Xiaomi Mi 5, the smartphone is a complete package with premium build, high-end specifications and affordability. According to Xiaomi, it took them nearly two years to build the Mi 5. Xiaomi has launched the Mi 5 in three storage options, the one with 128GB ROM is called Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro and features ceramic back.

Sony Xperia X, XA and X Performance unveiled at MWC 2016

Sony has officially took the wraps of the first Xperia “X” series smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2016. The new line-up of X series include mid-range Sony Xperia X and Xperia XA along with an high-end Sony Xperia X Performance. According to Sony, the X line-up will be made available in variety of colours and will roll out starting Summer 2016, i.e. four more months.

Micro splash designed HTC Desire 530, Desire 630 and Desire 825 announced at MWC 2016

LG and Samsung took the MWC stage to unveil their respective flagship smartphones. But, HTC on the other hand took a different approach and has unveiled three new mid-range Desire series smartphones at the Mobile World Congress. Called HTC Desire 530, Desire 630 and Desire 825, the smartphones follow the same design policy of HTC but with new micro splash effect, creating unique pattern of paint on each device.

Along with the announcement of the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung has also announced its first action camera, called the Gear 360. The Gear 360 is a 360-degree camera which can create 360-degree videos and images at once. According to Samsung, the Gear 360 will be available starting Q2 2016 in select countries in white color option. There is no word on pricing details yet.

This is the first time ever, users will watch the Unpacked event in a 360-degree view.

LG is already done with the unveiling of LG G5, but the announcement gave us more than expected. Along with the G5 and its expansion modules, LG has also introduced a wide range of companion devices, aptly called LG Friends. LG has officially announced the G5 couple of hours back. The LG G5 is the first ever modular smartphone from the company with all metal uni-body design. The smartphone comes with removable slide-out battery drawer.
