Korean-based Samsung is set to announce a 5.8-inch smartphone with dual-SIM support very reminiscent of the Galaxy Player 5.8, according to folks in the know. SamMobile says that the 5.8-inch device, reportedly dubbed the "Galaxy Fonblet 5.8" will be released in Europe in a white colour variant running Jelly Bean.
The Fonblet -- we're a little iffy on the name, as we expect you are -- is said to have the same 960 x 540 LCD AMOLED display that is featured on the Galaxy Player 5.8 available in South Korea. Samsung shocked the world with the introduction of its 5.5-inch Galaxy Note, which sold three million units in a little over a month. We wonder how customers will perceive the Fonblet's even larger screen.
It's not clear if the Fonblet will be announced at MWC in late February along with the Galaxy SIV and 8-inch Galaxy Note tablet. Whatever the announcements may be, theAAA Team will be covering the show in full-force.
