Micromax Bolt A61 with metallic body, 4-inch display gets listed on official website (now available in India for Rs. 4,989)

Update: Micromax Bolt A61 is now available from online retailer Infibeam for Rs. 4,989. The smartphone is also available from Micromax official e-Store for Rs. 4,999. The retailer claims to have stocks of Bolt A61, and promises to ship the device in 1-2 days with COD option.

Micromax is set to launch another entry level smartphone in India. Dubbed as Micromax Bolt A61, the smartphone is listed on official Micromax website and is a new addition in the company's Bolt series. The Bolt A61 features metallic body and comes in grey colour along with entry level specifications. Considering the specs, the smartphone should be priced below Rs. 5,000.

Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 with 1.2GHz processor, Android 4.2 now available in India for Rs. 10,730 (listed on Samsung India eStore for Rs. 10,999)

Update: Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 is now officially listed on Samsung India eStore. Samsung has priced Galaxy S Duos 2 in India at Rs. 10,999,  however there is no word on the availability of the device. This listing confirms that India launch of Galaxy S Duos 2 is not too far away, and Samsung India will any time launch the smartphone officially.

In addition, the Galaxy S Duos 2 is also available from famous online retailer Flipkart for Rs. 10,750.

Android 4.4 KitKat update for HTC One Unlocked and Developer Edition now rolling out

HTC has started rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat update for Unlocked and Developer Edition HTC One in United States starting today. The update is available for download via over-the-air (OTA) and brings Android 4.4 KitKat and Sense 5.5 UI, rather than Sense 6.0, which is rumoured to arrive along with HTC One successor (HTC Two) in February 2014.

Red and Rose Gold Samsung Galaxy Note 3 officially unveiled

Hours before we reported about Samsung's plan to launch two new colours for Galaxy Note 3. And now, Samsung Argentina has officially unveiled the new Galaxy Note 3 colours. The product page of Note 3 in Argentina is now updated with Rose Gold and Red colours. As reported earlier, the specifications of these variants are similar to the other colour variants.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to come in Red and White Gold colours in January

Samsung initially launched the Galaxy Note 3 in Classic White, Jet Black and Blush Pink colours. Though the black and white colours are widely available, the pink variant of Note 3 is exclusive to particular retailers and hard to find. 4-inch Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 specifications and images leaks online, packs 1.2GHz processor & 6Gb RAM (coming soon in India)

Update: According to Zauba, who tracks India's export and import, Samsung has already shipped hundreds of Galaxy S Duos 2 in India. Also, mobile phone retailer, Mahesh Telecom is reporting that, they will be getting the stocks of S Duos 2 in few days and will be priced at Rs. 11,230 with best buy price of Rs. 10,990. This confirms that the launch is not too far away.

Samsung Galaxy S Duos has been a hit for Samsung, and now the company is planning to launch an upgraded version of the smartphone soon. HTC has officially announced three new Desire series smartphones in Taiwan today. Gionee has officially took the wraps of the Gionee Elife E7 at an event in Shanghai, China yesterday. The Gionee Elife E7 is the company's latest flagship smartphone, which is set to get launched globally in January 2014. The Elife E7 comes in wide range of colours, including Black, White, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Pink. According to Gionee, the smartphone will be up for pre-order in China next month and will be available beginning December 12th.

Micromax has silently released an updated version of Micromax Canvas HD A116 in India in the form of Micromax A116i. The smartphone has been spotted for sale on various Indian e-commerce site, which include, eBay India and Maniac Store. The A116i comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on-board, rest of the specifications are the same as its predecessor. 

Gionee Elife E7 and Elife E7 Mini full specification sheet leaked along with press images ahead of launch

Gionee is all set to launch the successor of Elife E6, the Gionee Elife E7 in Shanghai today at Shanghai Film Museum. The Elife E7 is the company's latest flagship device, which is going to feature some mind blowing specifications. Android 4.4 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition rolling out starting today

After rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat update for HTC One Google Play Edition yesterday, Google has now officially announced that the Galaxy S4 GPE will also get the update starting today, any time now. The news was reported by a post by Android Google+ account this morning. The update will reach your smartphone automatically, but you can still check for it manually by going to Settings > About Phone > Software Update.

Unannounced HTC smartphone spotted on AnTuTu scoring 36,532 points, is it HTC M8? (confirmed specifications revealed)

Update: AnTuTu has now revealed all the specifications of HTC M8. According to AnTuTu report, HTC M8 (HTC 0P6B120) will come with a 5-inch Full HD display, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974AB) processor with Adreno 33 GPU and 2GB RAM.

The smartphone will come with similar 4MP Ultrapixel rear camera & 2.1MP front facing camera as seen on HTC One and 16GB internal storage. AnTuTu also claims that HTC M8 will come with Android 4.4 KitKat on-board.

We have been hearing about HTC M8 from a long time. The HTC M8 is reported to be the successor of HTC's this year flagship HTC One. HTC M8 is reported to arrive next year in February, probably at MWC 2014. Now, an unannounced HTC smartphone has been spotted on AnTuTu, scoring outstanding 36,532 points, putting itself ahead of LG G2, Note 3, and Xperia Z1.

HTC One Google Play Edition getting Android 4.4 KitKat update

As promised HTC has finally started rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for Google Play Edition HTC One. The company promised to release the update within 15 days of official KitKat announcement, and even delivered the code to Google, but Google took a bit longer time to release it. HTC officially announces Gold coloured HTC One

HTC has officially took the wraps of the Gold HTC One recently. The new HTC One has its aluminium body wrapped in gold, and does not feature real gold. HTC unveiled the limited edition HTC One made out of 18k gold last month, and today the company has announced the Gold coloured HTC One, in addition to the existing Silver, Black, Red and Blue colours.

Samsung Galaxy S5 metal frame images leaked, points towards 5.3-inch display

Qualcomm has officially announced a new processor in its Snapdragon 800 series. Dubbed as Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, the processor is the successor of Snapdragon 800 and features minor/major upgrade over its predecessor. Intex soon to launch India's first smartphone with 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor, 6-inch HD display & 2GB RAM in toe

Intex has officially announced that they have tied-up with MediaTek to launch the India's first smartphone featuring octa-core MT6592 processor. The MediaTek octa-core MT6592 processor was announced back in July, and according to Intex the processor is set to get launched worldwide this week. The MT6592 octa-core chip comes with eight cores, which can work simultaneously for exceptional multi-tasking.

Google Nexus 10 2013 made by LG appears online, first images and full specifications revealed along with pricing, rumoured for Nov 22 launch

LG made the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 5, Samsung made the Nexus 10 and Asus was rumoured to make the next Nexus 10 tablet, which does not seems legit, as official press render of LG-made Nexus 10 has popped up on the web, with all the details, starting from pricing to specifications to launch date. Reports are arriving from Reddit, revealing that Google has appointed LG to make the next 2013-variant of Nexus 10 tablet.

HTC One successor alleged specifications leaked, to come with 5-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 800 processor and Android 4.4 KitKat

HTC M8 aka HTC One successor, or say HTC Two, is back in news again. The smartphone has got a thumps up from serial leaker @evleaks. Evleaks has confirmed on twitter that HTC M8 do exist, and has shared, actually predicted the key specifications of the device. HTC M8 is reported to arrive next year in February, probably at MWC 2014.

Exclusive: 8000+ Nexus 7 (2013) tablets and 960 Nexus 5 Bumper Case already shipped in India (11,000+ Nexus 5 smartphone also shipped)

Update: Great news, according to Zauba records, more than 11,000 units of Nexus 5 smartphone are already shipped in India. Total of 11,050 units of Nexus 5 are already in India up to 13th November. In which, 6150 units are of Black 16GB version, 1500 of White 16GB, 1700 of Black 32GB and 1650 of White 32GB.

While the shipments are already done, we are yet to hear any official news from Google regarding the India launch.

Earlier: You are not only the one who is waiting to buy the Nexus 7 (2013) or the Nexus 5 in India, we are also in a queue. According to Zauba, who tracks the India import and export, more than 8000 Nexus 7 (2013) tablets, both WiFi and 3G version have been shipped in India on 13th November from China, along with 960 units of Nexus 5 Bumper Case, which include 320 each of Bright Yellow, Bright Red and Gray.

Update: A new image of Xperia Z1s has popped up on the web. The image (below) shows the international Xperia Z1 Mini beside flagship Xperia Z1, giving a clear look at the size of the smartphone. According to the annotation on the image, it appears to suggest that Xperia Z1s will come with IPS display.

Motorola to launch Moto G in US and India running Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box

Motorola's newly announced Moto G, is going to get launched in US and India in January 2014. But don't you think its a long wait, we think so. But wait, the wait is worth waiting. According to Omio News report, Mark Randal, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain & Operations at Motorola, has confirmed to them in an interview that Moto G will be coming with Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box in India, US and other South-East Asian countries.
