It appears that the rumoured Sony Xperia Tablet Z ( SO-03E/C690X ) will be announced by NTT DoCoMo in Japan next week on 22 January. The ‘DoCoMo Smartphone Lounge‘, which we assume is officially affiliated with NTT DoCoMo, has revealed that people will be able to see the Xperia Z & Xperia Tablet Z from Wednesday 23rd January to Sunday 27th January.
This follows the formal announcement of the new devices on the 22 January. We know that this is the date when NTT DoCoMo will be showcasing its new products for Spring 2013. If we do see the tablet turn up next week, then expect a formal western announcement of the Xperia Tablet Z at MWC in February.
