As we all know Sony is going to announce the beast of all phone out there on 25th June in Germany, dubbed as Sony Xperia Z Ultra, the only thing missing till now were the leaked images and leaked specifications. Thanks to Xperia Blog and Esato for sharing some information about the specs and some images of this Phablet around the web.
First we will talk about the leaked images, the above image was published by a user @latter21, who seems to work for Sony. The image was first published on a Chinese site sebbs.it168.com and later removed. After that, the same image was found back on the web via Esato. Looking at the image, it is clear that the device is huge and very slim and looks somewhat like Sony Xperia Z.
After that, Xperia Blog have also leaked one image of the device. The image shows the front of the device and how much huge the bezel is. If we go back in January, there was one leaked image of the same Phablet (when it was going for mass production), showed the same front panel of the device. So, it is clear that the phablet inside the image is real.
Later on, according to TechBlog.gr, the device would also be able to use any pen or pencil, which seems far-fetched. According to their report, the phablet will have have model number L4 and may come with stylus pen support, much like Samsung's Galaxy Note series. In related, TechBlog also revealed the model number of Sony's mysterious Smartphone Honami as M8.
And at last Xperia Blog did it again by sharing rest of the specifications of this device. According to their trusted source, Sony Togari will come with a 6.44-inch Full HD 1080p "Triluminos with X-Reality for Mobile" Display. The device will come with a special type of touch screen sensor that will allow input from either a stylus, pencil, pen or pretty much anything.
Sony will be using the Neonode's MultiSensing Touch Technology on Xperia ZU. To know more about this Touch Technology refer the below video.
Sony Xperia Z Ultra will come with plenty of power under the hood, armed with the 2.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor and Adreno 330 Graphics, which is not yet found on any device. Other features include, 8MP Exmor RS rear camera with 2.2MP front facing camera. Much like Xperia Z, Xperia ZU will also be water and dust resistant with an IP55/IP58 certification.
Sony will be launching Xperia ZU with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and expected to come with a revamped UI. The device will be very slim much like Xperia Z & Xperia Tablet Z and will have dimensions of 179.2x92x6.5mm and will weigh 212g.
If the phone is indeed going to be announced on June 25th with the same specs as stated above, then without doubt this will be a premium device for whom everyone is waiting for.
