LAVA Iris 405+ with 4-inch display, dual-core processor officially launched in India for Rs. 6,999

LAVA has officially launched a new budget Android smartphone in India today. Dubbed as LAVA Iris 405+, the smartphone was recently found listed on online retailer Flipkart. The Iris 405+ comes in black colour, and is priced at Rs. 6,999. The smartphone is the successor of Iris 405, which was launched last year in May. 

Specifications-wise, LAVA Iris 405+ comes with a 4-inch WVGA display, 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor, 512MB RAM, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and dual-SIM support (GSM+GSM) with dual-standby feature.

Other specifications include 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 4GB internal storage (2.25GB user available) with 32GB expandable using microSD card and 1,400 mAh battery. 

The smartphone is 9mm thick and weighs 127 grams, and also comes with 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP and A-GPS.
