OnePlus is one of the vendors that have generated a buzz in the smartphone arena with the launch of its first smartphone dubbed OnePlus One as the consumers can enjoy the benefits of high-end specs at a low pricing. Now, it appears like the vendor is not going to stop with making smartphones as it is tipped that the firm is all set to launch its first smartwatch dubbed OnePlus OneWatch.
Well, BGR India has received a detailed sketch (below) of the OneWatch that provides an idea of how the smartwatch could look like and its alleged features. According to the report, the device will have an OLED display that will use Sapphire glass for protection and the face of the device will flaunt titanium borders.
In addition, the crown on the OneWatch is likely to help in configuring it like a normal watch. It is also said to feature a leather strap to include the curved battery that will support Qi Wireless charging.
With a round design, the OneWatch is believed to carry a similar design language as the Moto 360 that is more appealing than the square form factor in the other smartwatches that currently exist in the market. Details on pricing and specifications are yet unknown. But, as OnePlus has a website ready for the OneWatch (above), the launch should be around the corner.
As of now, there is no information on the operating system that would power the OnePlus’ wearable device, but it is expected to be either Android Wear or its own UI on customized Android platform.
