LG has officially announced the successor to last year's LG L Bello, called as LG Bello II. The Bello II is a new addition in the company's L-series of smartphones and is targeted at mid-level segment in emerging markets. The L-series of smartphones was launched last year aimed at these markets, by offering higher-end phones software-based features in mid-range phones.

The LG Bello II will be available in White, Titan and Gold colors. According to LG, the Bello II will arrive in key markets in Latin America and India this month, followed by rollout in Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) throughout the third quarter.
Also, LG notes that the Bello II will be known as the LG Max in India, Mexico and some CIS countries while it will debut as the LG Prime II in Brazil and Chile. Pricing and exact availability details will be revealed at the time of primary launch.
LG has stuffed the Bello II with many software features like Gesture Shot and Selfie Flash. Gesture Shot enables users to take selfies without pressing any buttons and by simply opening and closing a hand in front of the camera. And Selfie Flash turns the phone’s display into a soft flash. The smartphone also comes with Knock Code feature.
On the specifications front, LG Bello II comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854 x 480p resolutions, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with LG's UX 4.0 on top. The smartphone measures 140.8 x 71.6 x 9.6mm and weights 155 grams.
Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front facing selfie camera, 8GB internal storage with expandable up to 32GB using microSD card and 2,540mAh (removable) battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and USb 2.0.
