Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro with 6" display, 6GB RAM, 16MP cameras to launch in India soon

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro announced back in October 2016 is soon going to launch in India. The Galaxy C9 Pro is company's latest offering in the C series of smartphones, which are exclusive to China. Report coming from MySmartPrice states that Samsung India will be launching the Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone in India later this month.

Samsung has already started sending out press invites for the launch of Gear S3 smartwatch in India on January 11th. We are expecting Samsung to launch the Galaxy C9 Pro at the same event.

The Galaxy C9 Pro is a premium smartphone from Samsung and will be the first C series smartphone to land in India.

The device comes in three colors including Black, Gold and Rose Gold. Samsung has priced the C9 Pro in China at CNY 3,199 which translates to Rs. 31,500 approx. in Indian Rupees. We hope Samsung prices the same in India below Rs. 35,000.

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro features aerospace-grade aluminium unibody design. The smartphone comes with stereo speakers — one in the earpiece and other on the bottom along with a new antenna design. Beneath the display there's a home button which doubles as fingerprint scanner.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Galaxy C9 Pro comes with a 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass.

Powering the device is 1.9GHz octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor with Adreno 510 GPU and whopping 6GB RAM. Running inside is Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with TouchWiz UI on top.
