Sony ends software update support for several 2012 Xperia smartphones, such as Xperia U, Miro, SL, Ion, J, Go, S, P and more

Sony has quietly started updating its support pages for the Xperia smartphones that hit the launchpad in 2012. Majority of the smartphones launched in 2012 won't get updated further and would remain stuck on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The pages for the smartphone have been updated with Android 4.0/4.1 as the "Latest & final version."
