The Galaxy SIV is going to be Samsung’s next flagship. At this rate, we’ll know all about it before it’s officially announced. Here are the latest rumors.

The newest high end Samsung Smartphone may not be called Galaxy SIV. The number 4 is bad luck in Korea, so the name itself is still up in the air. The internal code name is Altius, and the model number is GT-I9500, that much we know. The phone will come in two colors, black and white, and will have a 2,600 mAh battery. It will also support wireless charging, although the wireless charging dock will be sold separately. Samsung is going to hold an Unpacked event on March 22nd to announce the device and it will actually go on sale in April, possibly April 15th.

The Galaxy SIV device specs are still rumored. It will be powered by an Exynos 5 Octa-core processor and have 2GB of RAM. The display will be a 4.99 inch Super AMOLED Full HD Touchscreen. It will be running 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and have a 13MP Rear camera, with a 2MP Front-Facing camera. The cameras will record video at 1080p and 720p, respectively.
A March 22nd announcement confirms news that the Galaxy SIV won’t be revealed at Mobile World Conference alongside the Galaxy Note 8.0.
