Sony Xperia Z Ultra is soon arriving in France as well. Sony has started sending out "Save the Date" press invitation to French tech media. The press invitation, which you can view below, features something very interesting - It shows the first Official look of Sony's Upcoming Phablet, Xperia ZU aka Xperia Z Ultra.
Sony Mobile Offers a Big Surprise..Thursday, July 4 at 9:30 am, Paris 09Do not forget to mark your calendars!
The invitation also contains some hard-written text on it with a pen image, which points towards the device to come with Stylus/Pen input support as rumoured. The device in the image clearly shows how much thin Xperia Z Ultra will be. The leaked specs points towards 6.5mm thickness.
We can only see the side profile of the image, which shows that the headphone jack, the signature power button, as seen on on rest of the 2013 Xperia flagship devices, the volume rocker and a dedicated camera button all will be on the right side of the device. The device is also rumoured to come with IP55/IP58 certification, yet the headphone jack is open with no port covering it.
Reminder for you all, Sony Xperia ZU is believed to have a 6.44-inch Full HD Triluminos with X-Reality for Mobile display, 2.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor, Adreno 330 Graphics, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage with microSD memory card slot.
The device might also features 8MP rear camera with 2.2MP front facing camera, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and 3000mAh Battery. The phone will be first announced on 25th June in Germany and Shanghai, then in France followed by other countries.
Our sources confirm that Sony will be launching Xperia ZU in India in the month of July. The pricing is still unknown, but we hope to hear the details soon.
