Sony is reportedly planning to launch their next-gen SmartWatch in Shanghai at Mobile Asia Expo 2013. The company has been tweeting many tweets related to smartwatch on Twitter from past 1 week, which are indication towards a new next-gen Sony SmartWatch.
Sony already sells one Android powered SmartWatch across the globe. According to CNET, the next-gen Sony SmartWatch will pack some significant feature upgrades over the current model. The New SmartWatch would run on Android and feature Capacitive buttons like in Xperia Smartphones. In addition, the wrist watch will come with bigger display, rather than 1.3-inch as seen on present model.
CNET is also reporting that, Sony will be adding NFC support on this next-gen SmartWatch, which will provide one touch sharing. Last, according to CNET trusted insider, the New Sony SmartWatch will be minimally water-resistant, we don't know what "minimally" here indicates.
