Motorola has officially took the wraps off from the new Droid-series smartphones at an press event on 23rd July. Motorola and Verizon together have launched the all new Droid Ultra, Droid Ultra Mini and Droid MAXX smartphones. According to Verizon, the smartphone will cost $199, $99 and $299 respectively, with two-year contract. All the three Droid-series smartphones are now up for pre-order on Verizon's official website, while the actual shipments will begin from August 20th on-wards.

Coming to the specifications part, Motorola Droid Ultra comes with an impressive 5.0-inch OLED HD display, Motorola's X8 Computing System, 1.7GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 10MP rear camera with 2MP front facing camera, 2130mAh Battery, 7.18mm thickness and 16GB internal storage.

While, Motorola Droid MAXX sports a 5.0-inch OLED HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 on top, Motorola's X8 Computing System, 1.7GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 10MP rear camera with 2MP front facing camera, 3500mAh Battery, 8.5mm thickness, wireless charging support and 32GB internal storage.
