LG has come up with a new iteration of its Windows based Tab Book tablet and this latest variant runs on Android. This variant of the Tab Book is almost similar to its Windows counterpart that was announced at the CES 2014. The major difference is that this version uses a quad-core Intel Core i5 processor clocked at 2.6GHz and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

After getting spotted on TENAA couple of months back, Samsung earlier this week made the Samsung SM-T2558 official in China with the moniker Samsung Galaxy TabQ. The Galaxy TabQ is the Galaxy W which was officially announced in South Korea last month. The smartphone is also listed on Samsung's official China website which confirms the specifications.

Earlier this week, on Tuesday, NVIDIA officially took the wraps off the tablet focussed on gamers with the moniker of NVIDIA Shield Tablet. The highlight of the package is the Tegra K1 processor that blows the competition out of the water. The tablet comes with an 8-inch display with a Full HD resolution. It will come with support for Ultra HD games with 4K resolution.

After Samsung announced the Galaxy S5 LTE-A in South Korea last month, LG has now came up with the prime variant of G3 called LG G3 Cat.6. Similar to Galaxy S5 LTE-A, the LG G3 Cat.6 comes with upgraded processor and faster connectivity. The G3 Cat.6 comes in three colours including Metallic Black, Silk White and Gold Shine and will go on sale in the country starting July 25th. No word on pricing details yet. The smartphone is exclusive to South Korea.

As expected, Xiaomi also referred as Apple of China on Tuesday has officially took the wraps off the much awaited successor of last year announced Mi3, called the Xiaomi Mi4. The smartphone comes with upgraded design, build quality and hardware. The Mi4 comes in black and white colours and is priced at 1,999 Chinese Yuan ($322/Rs. 19,400) for the 16GB variant and 2,499 Chinese Yuan ($403/Rs. 24,220) for the 32GB variant.

LG has officially announced the launch of the mini version of the current flagship device LG G3 earlier today. As gossiped, the handset comes in two monikers namely LG G3 Beat and LG G3 s for the Asian and European regions respectively. The handset features a sophisticated Floating Arc metallic design and comes in a slew of color options which include Metallic Black, Silk White and Shine Gold.

As expected, Sony has officially took the wraps off the Xperia C3 earlier today. Sony is calling the Xperia C3 as "the world's best selfie smartphone," as it comes with 5MP front facing camera with LED flash and slew of software features. The Xperia C3 comes in dual-SIM variant too and will be available in black, white and mint (green) colours starting August 2014 in China first followed by other countries. No word on pricing details yet.

After getting leaked online numerous of times, Nokia on Tuesday officially took the wraps of the next generation Nokia X smartphone. Dubbed as Nokia X2, the smartphone comes with improved hardware and software. Nokia X2 comes in various colour options which include glossy green, orange, black, yellow, white and matt dark grey. Nokia has priced the Nokia X2 at 99 Euros.

Samsung announced its this year flagship smartphone — Samsung Galaxy S5 at the MWC 2014 event in Barcelona in February. The Korean tech giant earlier today has officially took the wraps off a new variant of the Galaxy S5 in South Korea. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A, the smartphone comes with upgraded display resolution, faster processor and faster connectivity.

After series of leaks and rumours, Samsung earlier today has officially unveiled a new series of tablets dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Tab S. The Galaxy Tab S tablets comes in two different sizes – 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch and features industry's leading Super AMOLED display panels. The Galaxy Tab S tablets are the first one's after Samsung released the Galaxy Tab 7.7 with AMOLED display in 2011. Samsung has announced the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Galaxy Tab S 10.5 at the Samsung Galaxy Premiere 2014 event.

Samsung has officially announced a new mid-range Android smartphone in Taiwan recently. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Core Lite, the smartphone is a new addition in the company's Galaxy series and comes with 4G LTE support. The smartphone comes in white color and is priced at NT$7,988, which is approx US$266. There is no word on whether Samsung will launch the Core Lite in other countries or not.

Along with Oppo N1 Mini, Oppo earlier today has officially announced a new mid-range Android smartphone. Dubbed as Oppo R3, the smartphone is a new addition in the company's R series and is the successor of Oppo R1. Oppo R3 comes in white and black colours and is priced at 2,299 Chinese Yuan ($369). According to Oppo, the R3 will be available in China later this month.

As expected, Oppo has earlier today officially announced the miniature variant of the Oppo N1. Called the Oppo N1 Mini, the smartphone images and details were leaked couple of weeks ago. The N1 Mini looks exactly similar to the flagship N1, but has a smaller screen size and downgraded specs. Oppo will launch the N1 Mini in China on June 10th. (Update: Officially Launched)

Samsung Galaxy S5 beside being water and dust resistant, Samsung has earlier today officially launched the more rougher and tougher version of the Galaxy S5. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, the smartphone is now official and is available from AT&T (telecom operator) in the United States. The Galaxy S5 Active comes in three colour options which include Titanium Gray, Ruby Red and Camo Green.

China based handset manufacturer Xiaomi has officially announced the launch of its first tablet device dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Pad on Thursday. The device appears pretty impressive with a gorgeous 7.9-inch display boasting a screen resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and 326 ppi pixel density. These aspects make the tablet match up to the quality of the iPad Mini 2.

HTC has officially announced the much leaked miniature variant of its flagship One (M8), dubbed as HTC One Mini 2. The smartphone is the mini version of HTC One (M8) and is the successor of last year announced HTC One Mini. The design of One Mini 2 is similar to its bigger brother though it misses out the Duo camera set up.
