Samsung Galaxy Golden with dual 3.7-inch display, dual-core processor officially launched in India for Rs. 51,900

Samsung has officially launched the first dual-screen Android flip phone in India. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Golden, the smartphone has been launched in India for Rs. 51,900 and will be available at all major retailers across India in coming days. The Galaxy Golden was originally announced in South Korea in August, and India is the second country to receive it.

Samsung has officially launched the first dual-screen Android flip phone in India. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Golden, the smartphone has been launched in India for Rs. 51,900 and will be available at all major retailers across India in coming days. The Galaxy Golden was originally announced in South Korea in August, and India is the second country to receive it.

Samsung has included all the software-tweaks of high-end Galaxy phones in Galaxy Golden. The smartphone also comes with Hidden Receiver, which allows users to take calls without opening the folder and provides high quality sound in noisy areas.

Samsung Galaxy Golden features two 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED displays, 3x4 numeric keypad for typing, 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1.5GB RAM, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung's own customized UI.

The Galaxy Golden also comes with 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.9MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with 32GB expandable using microSD card, 1,820 mAh battery and 3G connectivity. The smartphone is 15.8mm thick and weighs 179 grams.
