Asus PadFone Mini first press render leaks online, to launch on December 11th in Taiwan, features 4.3-inch smartphone and 7-inch tablet dock

Asus is soon going to announce the first budget friendly device under PadFone series, in the form of Asus PadFone Mini at a dedicated event in Taiwan on December 11. PadFone's are actually a combo of smartphone and a tablet. Until now, Asus has launched total of four PadFone devices, each and every with 10-inch tablet dock, but the upcoming PadFone Mini is said to feature a 7-inch tablet dock and 4.3-inch smartphone.

Serial leaker Evleaks has leaked the first official press render of PadFone Mini, which shows the front and back of the 7-inch tablet and 4.3-inch smartphone. As you can see in the image, the smartphone will slide out into the tablet in a portrait mode.

As per previous rumours, the smartphone in PadFone Mini will come with a 4.3-inch qHD display, while the tablet will sport a 7-inch HD display. The PadFone Mini is also rumoured to come with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean along with dual-SIM support.

As described above, the PadFone Mini will be a budget offering from Asus. No information is available on pricing and availability, but we will hear more about the device, when it goes official.
