Android 4.4 KitKat update for LG G2 now rolling out, Korea only

As promised, LG has started rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for LG G2 in South Korea. The update is currently getting rolled out to only South Korean G2's released for telecom operator KT. The update is rolling out over-the-air and will reach your G2 soon, so keep checking out your notification panel. There is no word on when the update will be live to SKT and LG U+ users.

As promised, LG has started rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for LG G2 in South Korea. The update is currently getting rolled out to only South Korean G2's released for telecom operator KT. The update is rolling out over-the-air and will reach your G2 soon, so keep checking out your notification panel. There is no word on when the update will be live to SKT and LG U+ users.

The update weighs in at 637.39MB and along with new Android version it brings usual KitKat goodies, which include immersive interface, camera improvements, cloud-print support and more.

According to Naver, the UI performance is faster by 4.4 KitKat update and also the indicator bar or say icons has been changes from blue to white. 

No details on when LG will be officially rolling out the same update in other markets, but according to previous reports we should be seeing the update in Q1, 2014.
