NVIDIA Tegra 4 powered XOLO Play Tegra Note spotted on Flipkart for Rs. 18,990 (now on pre-order for Rs. 17,999)

Update: Online retailer Flipkart has now started taking pre-orders of XOLO Play Tegra Note in India for Rs. 17,999, which is Rs. 1,000 less than the listing price, we saw yesterday on Flipkart.

Flipkart notes that Play Tegra Note will be released in India in the 3rd week of December, so we might see the official announcement sometime this week or next. More information to follow soon.


The XOLO Play Tegra Note which was going to get launched in India in mid-October is now listed on online retailer Flipkart for Rs. 18,990. To remind you all, XOLO Play Tegra Note is a re-branded Tegra Note tablet that was announced back in September by NVIDIA and XOLO was announced as a partner for India launch.

The Play Tegra Note has now appeared on Flipkart for Rs. 18,990 with coming soon tag, and comes in black colour. There is no word on when the tablet will be launched officially in India, but we are expecting the announcement sometime this week or next.

The tablet will be competing tough with newly launched Google Nexus 7 (2013), which is currently available in India for Rs. 20,999.

Specifications-wise, XOLO Play Tegra Note comes with a 7-inch 1280x800p resolution IPS display, 1.8GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor, 72 Core NVIDIA GeForce GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

The tablet also comes with 5MP AF rear camera, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with expandable memory up to 32GB using microSD card and 4,100 mAh battery. The Play Tegra Note is 9.6mm thick and weighs 320 grams.
