Back in November Intex unveiled India's first smartphone with octa-core processor, and today the company has officially launched the smartphone in India. Dubbed as Intex Aqua Octa, the smartphone comes with octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor clocked at 1.7GHz. The Aqua Octa comes in two colours, white and black and is priced at Rs. 19,999.
On the specifications front, Intex Aqua Octa comes with a 6-inch HD IPS OGS display, 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor, 700 MHz 450-MP4 GPU, 2GB RAM, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and dual-SIM support (WCDMA+GSM).
The Aqua Octa also comes with a 13MP AF rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage and disappointing 2,300 mAh battery. The device is 7mm thick and weighs 180 grams.
The smartphone also comes included with dual Yamaha 1420 speakers, 3G HSPA+ connectivity, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 and A-GPS support.
