Remember the long back reported Iris Pro series from LAVA?
LAVA is now set to finally debut the first smartphone under its premium Iris Pro series on 17th January in New Delhi. The Iris Pro series was originally planned to launch last year on 25th August, but unfortunately the smartphone didn't showed up on that day. Now, after five months, LAVA is back with the series.
As the name suggest, Iris PRO, the smartphone series falls under premium category. LAVA has revealed that the first smartphone under this series will come with a 4.7-inch screen featuring an LCD display manufactured by Japanese LCD manufacturer Sharp, along with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and fully laminated touch panel.
Also, the smartphone will come with Content Adaptive Backlight Control (CABC) feature, which will automatically control the back-light brightness based on the content you are viewing. Lastly, LAVA states that the smartphone will weigh only 114 grams, making it the lightest phone with a 4.7-inch display.
As per previous reports, the smartphone will come with a HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor (chipset unknown) and dual-LED rear flash. More details will be unveiled this week.
