LAVA Iris Pro 20 with 4.7-inch qHD display, quad-core processor, 8MP camera officially launched in India for Rs. 13,999

LAVA has silently launched a new mid-range Android smartphone in India recently. Dubbed as LAVA Iris Pro 20, the smartphone is the second phone under the Iris Pro series. LAVA Iris Pro 20 is the lighter version of the Iris Pro 30, which was launched earlier this year in January. The Iris Pro 20 comes in dark blue colour and is priced at Rs. 13,999. According to Lava, the smartphone will be available across India in the next few days.

LAVA has silently launched a new mid-range Android smartphone in India recently. Dubbed as LAVA Iris Pro 20, the smartphone is the second phone under the Iris Pro series. LAVA Iris Pro 20 is the lighter version of the Iris Pro 30, which was launched earlier this year in January. The Iris Pro 20 comes in dark blue colour and is priced at Rs. 13,999. According to Lava, the smartphone will be available across India in the next few days.

On the specifications front, Iris Pro 20 comes with a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display with One Glass Solution (OGS) technology, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean. The smartphone is 7.7mm thick and weighs 112 grams. It has dual-SIM support (normal+micro).

Other specifications include a 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with up to 32GB expandable using microSD card and 2,000 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G support, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS.

The display of Iris Pro 20 uses Content Adaptive Backlight Control (CABC) technology, which automatically reduces screen brightness resulting in 30% more battery life. The Iris Pro 20 looks exactly similar to the Iris Pro 30. LAVA is also said to launch the successor of Pro 30 in the coming months, dubbed as LAVA Iris Pro 40.
