Samsung Galaxy Core 2 specifications and press images leaked, launching next month with Android 4.4 KitKat on-board

Samsung earlier this month announced the Galaxy Ace Style and the Korean giant is now prepping a new mid-range Android smartphone. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Core 2, the smartphone is the successor of already available Galaxy Core. Samsung is reported to launch the Galaxy Core 2 in Russia on May 20th for 9,990 Russian Rubles (~Rs, 16,800).

Samsung earlier this month announced the Galaxy Ace Style and the Korean giant is now prepping a new mid-range Android smartphone. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Core 2, the smartphone is the successor of already available Galaxy Core. Samsung is reported to launch the Galaxy Core 2 in Russia on May 20th for 9,990 Russian Rubles (~Rs, 16,800).

On the specifications front, Samsung Galaxy Core 2 is reported to come with a 4.5-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 512MB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung's latest TouchWiz UI. The Galaxy Core 2 has dual-SIM support and is reported to be 9.8 mm thick weighting 138 grams.

Other specifications include a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 4MP internal storage with expandable up to 64GB using microSD card and 2,000 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n.
