HTC debuted its latest flagship smartphone the HTC One (M8) in March 2014. The smartphone was initially launched in three colours which include gray, silver and gold. Last month, prolific leaker @evleaks revealed the first press render of One (M8) wrapped in red colour and a week after we saw the same wrapped in pink colour with a rumour about blue variant on its way.
Now, Jeff Gordon, HTC global communication manager has revealed on Twitter that the red HTC One (M8) is official in Taiwan and is also up for sale.
The manager has also shared a 3D render of the red colour M8 hosted by Sketchfab. The 3D render shows the smartphone from every angle. You can have a look at the render below.
In addition to the news, both red and blue colour variants of One (M8) are up for pre-order in UK. Both the versions are available for pre-order from online retailer MobileFun in UK. The pricing of both these variants is similar to the regular One (M8), £549.99 for the 16GB variant.
Other than a new paint, the specifications of red and blue M8 remains similar to the original M8, which include a 5-inch Full HD display, 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.4.2 KitKat, Duo Camera (4MP UltraPixel + depth capturing) with dual-LED flash, 5MP front snapper, 16GB internal storage with microSD card slot and 2,600 mAh battery.
HTC is also said to launch a pink colour variant of the One (M8) soon, probably in a week or two.
