Earlier this month, Sony announced the successor of Xperia A and Xperia ZL and last month the Japanese company launched the Xperia M2 in the Indian market, which is a mid-range smartphone. Now, it looks like Sony is busy making another mid-range smartphone. Holding the model number D2403, the smartphone has popped up on GXBench website.

According to GFXBench listing, the Sony D2403 comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The exact screen size is yet unknown, as the site list three different sizes - 4.4-inch, 4.5-inch and 4.7-inch all with qHD (960 x 540 pixels) resolution.

Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera and 16GB of internal storage. Connectivity series include Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and NFC.

There is no word on when the smartphone will be launched officially, but it may happen soon, maybe next month. Also, as Xperia M2 has model number D2303, we are expecting the D2403 to be the Xperia L2.
