Micromax has silently started selling a new budget Android smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as Micromax Canvas Duet, the smartphone is the low cost variant of already available Canvas Duet II. The Canvas Duet holds the model number AE90 and comes in black colour. The smartphone is now available in India from online retailer Infibeam for Rs. 8,999.
Coming on to specifications, Micromax Canvas Duet comes with a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The smartphone has dual-SIM support, similar to other Micromax phones.
Other specifications include a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with expandable up to 32GB using microSD card and 1,800 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS.
