Oppo has started sending out press invites to the Indian tech press media for attending an event on June 11th, where the company will be announcing its 2014 flagship Android smartphone, the Oppo Find 7 for the Indian market. The Oppo Find 7 could be the first Quad HD smartphone to launch in India. There is no word on whether Oppo will launch both the Find 7 and the Find 7a in India or just the Find 7.
Pricing and availability details of Find 7 will be revealed at the launch event. Oppo plans on making its portfolio extend to about 10 devices by the time December 2014 arrives. Oppo Find 7 will be the second flagship phone from the company to land in India after the Oppo N1.
Talking about the specifications, the Oppo Find 7 comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD 2K (2560 x 1440 pixels) display with pixel density of 538ppi, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage with up to 128GB supported microSD card and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with ColorOS 1.2 on top.
The smartphone comes with 3,000 mAh battery with a new technology called as VOOC, which is capable of charging the battery to 75% in just 30 minutes. On the imagining front, the Find 7 comes with a 13MP Sony IMX214 CMOS camera. Oppo Find 7 comes with a Super Zoom mode, which takes 10 photos at once and merges them to form a single 50MP image (8160 x 6120 pixels). It also comes with a 5MP front facing camera.
