Samsung is preparing a premium version of the Galaxy S5 is no secret and there have been enough leaks to confirm this piece of information. Today we have for you some leaked images of the upcoming flagship from Samsung which finally provide us with a face to the rumours. The smartphone will be dubbed as Samsung Galaxy F and it will come with a metal casing to make it look premium, like its counterparts and better than the competitors.

Talking about the leaked images, these are of a pre-production prototype but the final one won't be much different either. It is a bit curved at the top and relatively flatter at the bottom. It will have a 5.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels which would translate into a pixel density of roughly around 550 ppi and that is quite a lot.

The prototype had a Snapdragon 801 chipset but the final one is expected to come with a Snapdragon 805 chipset under the hood. The RAM will stand at 3GB and the rest of the specs will be similar to the Galaxy S5. It will also come with an IP67 certification and the fact that it will be a metal clad unit, this will make it slightly heavy too.

It's better to take the pictures with a huge pinch of salt, as nothing is confirmed yet. Samsung disappointed a lot of people when it went ahead with a plastic build quality for its flagship device earlier this year but it wants to correct its mistakes now and the premium Galaxy F will surely help the cause.
