Micromax has silently released its first hexa-core powered smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as Micromax Canvas HD Plus, the smartphone comes with model number A190 and is now available online in India from Infibeam. The smartphone comes in two colours black gold and white gold and is priced at Rs. 13,500.
Karbonn was the first in the country to launch a smartphone with hexa-core processor called Karbonn Titanium Hexa, which was followed recently by XOLO by launching the XOLO Play 6X-1000. There is no word on official launch yet, though it is expected soon.
On the specifications front, Micromax Canvas HD Plus comes with a 5-inch HD display, 1.5GHz hexa-core MediaTek MT6591 processor, Mali-450 GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Like other Micromax smartphone, Canvas HD Plus also comes with dual-SIM support.
Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with expandable upto 32GB using microSD card and 2,000 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS.
