It is now confirmed by Samsung that the next generation Note phablet dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be launched at the UNPACKED 2014 event in Berlin on September 3rd. Now, the device has been leaked revealing its possible design language. Along with the detailed image, the Galaxy Note 4 is found listed on an Indonesian retailer website revealing its specifications.
From the leaked images, it appears like the Galaxy Note 4 resembles its predecessor featuring a plastic back with leather-like finish while the sides look similar to that of the newly announced Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
It is also evident that the Galaxy Note 4 features a S Pen holster on its side along with a micro USB 3.0 port and a speaker grille at the bottom. Alongside the camera, it appears to feature a heart rate monitor like the Galaxy S5. Along with the leaked images, the retail box of Note 4 has also made an appearance which adds more credibility to the leak.
Coming to the listing part now, Indonesian online retailer Erafone listed the Galaxy Note 4 on its website and later removed it, but not before eagle eye Teknoup caught it. The listing has revealed the complete specifications sheet of the smartphone. Online retailers sometimes tend to have some preliminary information about the upcoming launches, so this might be the case here.
According to the Erafone page, the Galaxy Note 4 will come with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and 515 ppi pixel density, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 or Exynos 5433 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and Android 4.4.3 KitKat.
The Note 4 is also claimed to feature a 16MP primary snapper with dual LED flash and OIS and 16/32/64GB internal storage with microSD card expansion. Connectivity series include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, WiFi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 A2DP LE, microUSB 3.0 and GPS.
Anyways, we need to wait until September 3rd to know more details regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
