Samsung was highly anticipated for the launch of the Galaxy Alpha that was the first metallic smartphone launched by the vendor back in late-October. However, the device appears to be unfortunate to stay in the market for a long time. The South Korean publication ETNews reports that Samsung will be discontinuing the Galaxy Alpha smartphone by February 2015.

Samsung has officially launched its first metal-frame Android smartphone in the Indian market recently. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Alpha, the smartphone comes with unique metal frame body and is just 6.7mm thick. The Galaxy Alpha was officially introduced last month. The smartphone comes in Charcoal Black, Dazzling White, Frosted Gold, Sleek Silver and Scuba Blue colours and is priced at Rs. 39,990.

After series of leaks and rumours, South Korean tech giant Samsung on Wednesday officially announced its all new metal-clad Android smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. The Galaxy Alpha comes in Charcoal Black, Dazzling White, Frosted Gold, Sleek Silver and Scuba Blue colours and will be available at the beginning of September in across 150 countries.
