LAVA has officially announced the launch of a new mid-range Android smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as LAVA Iris X5, the smartphone comes with front facing LED flash and is targeted to selfie-lovers. The Iris X5 come in grey-black and white colours and is priced at Rs. 8,799. But is exclusively available from online retailer Amazon.in for Rs. 8,649.
As an introductory offer, Amazon is offering a 16GB microSD memory card, a flip cover and a screen protector with the phone. The smartphone is initially available in grey-black colour with white colour X5 to be made available soon.
Coming on to the specifications, LAVA Iris X5 comes with a 5.0-inch HD IPS display with OGS tech, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The smartphone is 7.7mm thick and weights 134 grams.
Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, 5MP front facing camera with LED flash, 8GB internal storage with expandable upto 32GB using microSD card and 2,100 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and USB OTG.
