The upcoming iteration of Google’s operating system, Android L is one of the biggest update of Android. It is considered best as it would bring many new design aspects and significant features such as lock screen notifications, support for 64-bit processors and more. With Android L going to be released in October or November, you might be eager to know when your device will be getting the same update.
Samsung being the leader when it comes to Android based smartphones across the world, the users would be awaiting when the Android L update will be hitting the flagship Samsung models – Galaxy S5 and the yet to be released Galaxy Note 4. Well, a SamMobile report has the answer for this.
Citing inside sources, the report suggests that two main Samsung devices will be receiving the Android L update by the end of November or early December. As of now, it is not clear when the Google Nexus lineup will be receiving the Android L update.
Though the report suggests a specific time frame for the roll out of the upcoming Android version to the flagship Samsung devices, we cannot rely much on these as software updates do not stick on to the speculated time slots.
Given that the newly launched Android One lineup and the Nexus lineup along with the new Moto X and new Moto G devices will receive the update soon after its commercial release, Samsung will definitely have to be fast in updating its devices.
