LG G3 Beat with 5-inch display, laser-auto focus camera launched in India for Rs. 25,000

After getting spotted online for pre-order couple of weeks back, LG last week officially took the wraps off the LG G3 Beat in the Indian market. LG G3 Beat is the miniature variant of the G3 and comes with mid-range specifications. The G3 Beat comes in Metallic Black, Silk White and Shine Gold colours and is priced at Rs. 25,000. The smartphone is now available across the country.

After getting spotted online for pre-order couple of weeks back, LG last week officially took the wraps off the LG G3 Beat in the Indian market. LG G3 Beat is the miniature variant of the G3 and comes with mid-range specifications. The G3 Beat comes in  Metallic Black, Silk White and Shine Gold colours and is priced at Rs. 25,000. The smartphone is now available across the country.

In terms of technical specifications, the miniature variant of G3 features a 5-inch HD IPS display with screen-to-body ratio of 74.1%, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU coupled with 1GB of RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The smartphone is 10.3mm thick and weights 134 grams.

Also on-board is 8GB of internal storage capacity along with microSD card for expandable storage support, 8MP rear camera that has Laser Auto Focus and LED flash and a 1.3MP front facing snapper. The G3 Beat draws its energy from a 2,540 mAh battery that can deliver a decent backup for the mid-ranger.

Besides these aspects, the handset arrives with connectivity traits such as 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, USB 2.0 and A-GPS. The phone will be competing with Asus Zenfone 5, Moto G (2014), HTC Desire 816, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2, Google Nexus 5 and more.
