There are heavy rumors regarding
the Galaxy A lineup that includes three smartphones, the Galaxy A3, the Galaxy A5
and the Galaxy A7. While there has been numerous leaks regarding the lineup, a two minute
video clip revealing the hardware of the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 have come from
Mexico. The Galaxy A-series is claimed to arrive
with a metal frame similar to the Galaxy Alpha.
The video reveals that the A3 and A5 would equip a Snapdragon 410 processor with 64-bit architecture and that the Galaxy A5 features a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, whereas the A3 will include a smaller 4.5 inch qHD Super AMOLED display.
Furthermore, both the smartphones
have been spotted on the GFXBenchmark database revealing some specifications.
This confirms the Snapdragon 410 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz paired with Adreno
306 GPU and 1GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage support.
Also, the benchmark database
speculates the presence of an 13MP and an 8MP primary camera for the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 smartphones respectively and a similar 5MP front-facer on board all
with the ability to capture Full HD 1080p videos.
It is claimed that the Galaxy A5 will arrive with a 2,330 mAh battery and be priced between $400 and $450. On the other hand, the Galaxy A3 is likely to be priced between $350 and $400 and support LTE connectivity. The third member of the family, the Galaxy A7 is speculated to sport a larger 5.5-inch display with dual SIM card slots and be priced around $500.
In addition, a report by
SamMobile tips that the Galaxy A7 will feature a Full HD Super AMOLED display that
measures 5.5-inches in size. Also, the report states that the Galaxy A5 is
speculated to be released in November with the aforementioned price tag and
specifications.
