Flipkart is all set to kick off the Big Billion Day sale later today at 8AM. The sale is said to be the biggest ever sale and Xiaomi has announced that it will be offering the Xiaomi Mi3 for the last time in the country on October 6th, however to not all the customers. Along with the Mi3, Xiaomi has also announced that it will be offering 150,000 units of Redmi 1S.
Talking about the Mi3 first, Xiaomi has revealed that customers who have registered to buy the device five times or more, but not been able to get through even once will be automatically getting the Mi3 in their Flipkart carts on October 6th at 10AM.
Flipkart has revealed that 25,000 units of Mi3 will be available in this offer. Those who are lucky (like me) have already been notified via email. Lucky customers will be having 4 hours time to buy the Mi3. If they decline the purchase, then next batch of customers will be automatically getting the phone in their carts.
To refresh the specifications, Xiaomi Mi 3 comes with a 5.0-inch Full HD IPS display, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, MIUI V5 based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 16GB fixed internal storage and 3,050 mAh battery.
Coming on to Redmi 1S, Xiaomi has announced that 150,000 units of Redmi 1S will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting 8AM on October 6th. There is no need to register for the sale, as you will be able to buy the phone like any other product.
To remind you, Xiaomi Redmi 1S features a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with Dragontrail glass protection, 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM and MIUI v5 based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The smartphone comes with dual-SIM support (3G + 2G) and is 9.9mm thick.
Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.6MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with upto 64GB expandable using microSD card and 2,000 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and A-GPS + GLONASS.
