Delhi High Court allows Xiaomi to sell Qualcomm based devices in India till January 8

Last week, Xiaomi that gained over night popularity in the Indian market witnessed a ban from the Delhi High Court for infringing patents of Ericsson. Now, the same court has allowed the vendor to import and sell only Qualcomm based devices in the country till January 8, 2015. This is definitely a temporary relief for the vendor as it can sell its offerings for another month.

25,000 units of Xiaomi Mi3 and 150,000 units of Redmi 1S up for sale on Flipkart on October 6th

Flipkart is all set to kick off the Big Billion Day sale later today at 8AM. The sale is said to be the biggest ever sale and Xiaomi has announced that it will be offering the Xiaomi Mi3 for the last time in the country on October 6th, however to not all the customers. Along with the Mi3, Xiaomi has also announced that it will be offering 150,000 units of Redmi 1S.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S to go on sale in India starting September 2 for just Rs. 5,999; Mi3 sales temporarily discontinued

After launching the Redmi 1S in India last month for Rs. 6,999, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi on Tuesday at an press event in New Delhi has revealed that it will start the sales of Redmi 1S in the country starting September 2nd. The company has also revised the price of Redmi 1S, and will now retail for just Rs. 5,999 and not for Rs. 6,999 as revealed earlier.

With a good news, comes a bad news. Xiaomi has also revealed that it has temporarily discontinued the sales of Mi3 in the country.

Xiaomi Mi 4 and Mi Pad to launch in India by year end, Redmi 1S in some weeks and Redmi Note before Diwali

China based Xiaomi has already announced its yesteryear flagship model, Mi 3 in India and it is criticized for the shortage in the supply of units. Now, it appears like Xiaomi will be launching more smartphones in the country. Well, the firm has shared the tentative release schedule of several products including the latest flagship model Mi 4 and Mi Pad.

As reported, Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Redmi Note in India today. Similar to Mi3, both the Redmi series smartphones will be available in India exclusively via Flipkart.
