A month after rolling out the HTC Eye Experience update for HTC One (M8) in Europe, the Taiwanese tech giant has now started rolling out the same update for HTC M8 in India. Alongside Eye Experience, the update also brings Android 4.4.4 KitKat to the One (M8). As always, the update is rolling out over-the-air.
The update weights in at 288.49MB in size and bumps the software version to 3.35.720.1. The update is rolling out in batches, so it might take sometime to reach on your smartphone. To manually check for the update, go to Settings > About Phone > Software Update.
The HTC Eye Experience mobile imaging software was announced by HTC with the HTC Desire Eye. The update brings all new Desire Eye camera features to select HTC smartphones.

The HTC Eye experience provided innovative enhancement for taking photos and making videos. Here are some of the features you can enjoy:
- Face Tracking – Track up to 4 faces during a video chat, and ensure that they stay within the camera's angle of view.
- Split Capture – Record the action in front of you and yourself at the same time. Or, record the action first and then record a commentary.
- Face Fusion – Using 2 photos such as your selfie and a photo of your favorite celebrity, try blending your look together.
- Voice Selfie – Take a picture or video selfie by just saying “Cheese” or “Action”.
- Live Makeup – Smoothen your skin before taking your selfie.
- Photo Booth – Take 4 selfies and merge them into a single picture.
