Xiaomi tablet with 9.2-inch display, 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor details leaked
Xiaomi that has popular smartphones in its portfolio is now in the tech headlines regarding a tablet. Well, a 9.2-inch Xiaomi tablet has been spotted in the GFXBench database that reveals the key specifications of the slate. The listing does not specify the name of the Xiaomi device, but as the vendor has already come up with the Mi Pad (pictured below), it is believed that this new one also will be launched with the Mi Pad moniker.
According to the GFXBench database, the Xiaomi tablet codenamed 2014811 will feature a 9.2-inch HD 1280 x 720 pixel display. Fueled by Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system, the tablet is claimed to come with 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.
Other aspects revealed by the benchmark website include the presence of 8GB of internal storage and connectivity features which include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a myriad of sensors. The benchmark reveals no details about the device's cameras, indicating either a non-final specs listing, or a cameraless ultimate affordable tablet.
When it comes to the smartphone market, Xiaomi has gained enough traction with the Mi-series offerings helping it to push Huawei from the third position and occupying it in the third quarter of this year. Eventually, we can expect a drastic swirl in the tablet market with the launch of this tablet.
