XOLO has officially announced the launch of an all new series of smartphones called the Omega-series. The company has launched two new smartphones in the country under this series called the XOLO Omega 5.0 and XOLO Omega 5.5. Both the Omega 5.0 and Omega 5.5 comes in black colour and with mid-range specifications.
XOLO has priced the Omega 5.0 at Rs. 8,999 with Omega 5.5 costs Rs. 9,999. According to XOLO, the Omega 5.0 is now available for purchase across 10 major cities in the country and the Omega 5.5 will be available across India starting December 20th.
As an introductory offer, XOLO has partnered with telecom operator Vodafone to provide free 500MB data for two months to Omega 5.0 buyers and free 1GB data for two months to Omega 5.5 buyers in the country. Vodafone will also provide unlimited music download from Vodafone Music for free for two months.
On the specifications front, XOLO Omega 5.0 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display, 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor, Mali 450 GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat with XOLO's newly launched HIVE UI. XOLO will be providing Android 5.0 Lollipop update to all HIVE UI devices.
The smartphone measures 144 x 72 x 10.5mm and comes with Yamaha amplifier + DTS support. Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 8GB internal support with expandable using microSD card and 2,100 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
On the other-hand, XOLO Omega 5.5 comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor, Mali 450 GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat with XOLO HIVE UI on top. The smartphone comes with dual-SIM support and Yamaha amplifier + DTS support.
Other specifications include an 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 8GB internal support with expandable using microSD card and 2,600 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
