Dual-display YotaPhone price dropped in India again to Rs. 12,999

Yota Devices launched its first dual-display smartphone in the country called YotaPhone exclusively on Flipkart in October with a price tag of Rs. 23,499. The smartphone received its first price drop of Rs. 5,500 a month later and now again YotaPhone has received price cut of Rs. 5,000, which means that YotaPhone can now be purchased for just Rs. 12,999 (48% discount) from Flipkart.

Yota Devices launched its first dual-display smartphone in the country called YotaPhone exclusively on Flipkart in October with a price tag of Rs. 23,499. The smartphone received its first price drop of Rs. 5,500 a month later and now again YotaPhone has received price cut of Rs. 5,000, which means that YotaPhone can now be purchased for just Rs. 12,999 (48% discount) from Flipkart.

To remind you, YotaPhone features dual display – a 4.3-inch LCD panel at the front with HD 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and a 4.3-inch e-Ink panel at the back with 640 x 360 pixel resolution. 

The screen at the back can be used to display weather, stocks, calendar appointments, social media updates and notifications and to read e-books as well. It can also be used to display an image, some quotes or to mirror content from the LCD display to view later. 

Under the hood, the YotaPhone features a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage support. Fueled by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the smartphone features a 13MP primary camera with LED flash, a 1MP front-facer and a 1,800 mAh battery to pump decent backup to it.

The device measures 133.6 x 67 x 9.99 mm and weights 146 grams. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS with GLONASS.
