Samsung drops the price of Galaxy S3 Neo in India to Rs. 12,499

Samsung has reduced the price of the Neo variant of Galaxy S3 in the country. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo, the smartphone was originally introduced in the country back in April 2014 for Rs. 25,420 and was being sold for Rs. 15,900. Now, Samsung has reduced the price of the smartphone to Rs. 12,499. The device is now available from brick and mortar stores, e-retailers and official Samsung sStore at new rate.

Samsung has reduced the price of the Neo variant of Galaxy S3 in the country. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo, the smartphone was originally introduced in the country back in April 2014 for Rs. 25,420 and was being sold for Rs. 15,900. Now, Samsung has reduced the price of the smartphone to Rs. 12,499. The device is now available from brick and mortar stores, e-retailers and official Samsung sStore at new rate.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo

On the specifications front, the Galaxy S3 Neo is a small upgrade over original Galaxy S3. It comes with a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (Android 4.4 KitKat update available) and dual-SIM support. The smartphone is 8.6mm thick and weights 133 grams.

Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.9MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with expandable up to 64GB using microSD card and 2,100 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS + GLONASS and IR Blaster.
