During the annual Great Online Shopping Festival scheduled last month Google officially announced the launch of its sixth-generation Nexus series smartphone, the Nexus 6 along with its popular media streaming device, the Google Chromecast in the country. The Chromecast was only available exclusively from online retailer Snapdeal, but the same is now also available from Google Play Store for Rs. 2,999.
Google Chromecast was originally introduced back in 2013. The streamer will also be available from select Airtel stores in the country.
As an introductory offer, Airtel is offering free 20GB Broadband data per month for 3 months and Eros Now is offering free 2 months Eros Now Premium subscription to those who purchase Chromecast.
