XOLO has silently reduced the price of the NVIDIA Tegra 4 powered XOLO Play Tegra Note in the country. The Play Tegra Note was originally launched in India back in December 2013 for Rs. 17,999, and since then had received multiple price-cuts. The latest price-cut makes the device available exclusively from Amazon for just Rs. 7,999.
If you are unaware, XOLO Play Tegra Note comes with a 7-inch 1280 x 800 pixel resolution IPS display, 1.8GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor, 72 Core NVIDIA GeForce GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat, which is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the upcoming months.
Rest of the specifications include, 5MP auto focus rear camera, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with 64GB expandable using microSD card and 4,100 mAh battery. The Play Tegra Note is 9.6mm thick and weights 320 grams. Connectivity series include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0.
The XOLO Play Tegra Note also comes with TegraZone app pre-installed, which provides access to Tegra-optimized games and also supports a variety of game controllers over Bluetooth. It also comes with optional accessories including a intelligent slide cover flips, and a stylus, which is powered by NVIDIA DirectStylus technology, and micro HDMI.
