Samsung has officially announced the launch of four new mid-range Android smartphones in the Indian market recently. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5, the smartphones comes under company's new A-series lineup and were officially announced way back in October. Samsung has also introduced a new E-series lineup and has launched the Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 alongside the Galaxy A-series smartphones in the country.
The Galaxy A-series have aluminum unibody design and the Galaxy E-series have polycarbonate unibody design. All the four phones comes with dual-SIM support with Galaxy A5 feature 4G LTE connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 comes in black, white and gold colour options and are already up for sale across the country. On the other hand, the Galaxy E5 comes in black, white and brown colours and the Galaxy E7 comes in black, white and blue colours and will be available beginning January 20.
Samsung has priced the Galaxy E5 at Rs. 19,300, the Galaxy E7 at 23,000, the Galaxy A3 at Rs. 20,500 and the Galaxy A5 at Rs. 25,500. As an introductory offer, the Galaxy A-series gets special double data packs for up to 6 months from Airtel, whereas the Galaxy E-series gets 2GB of 3G data per month for 2 months from Vodafone.
Detailing on their specifications, the Galaxy A3 comes with a 4.5-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, Android 4.4.4 KitKat, 16GB internal storage with microSD card support, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front facer and 1,900 mAh battery.
The Galaxy A5, on the other hand, is fitted with a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad core processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.4.4 KitKat, 16GB internal storage with microSD card support, 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front facing snapper and 2,300 mAh battery.
Talking about the Galaxy E-series now, the Galaxy E5 comes with a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad core processor, 1.5GB RAM, Android 4.4.4 KitKat, 16GB internal storage with microSD card support, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front facing snapper and 2,400 mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Galaxy E7 is fitted with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad core processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.4.4 KitKat, 16GB internal storage with microSD card support, 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front facer and 2,900 mAh battery.
