HTC Desire 826 with Ultrapixel front camera, Android Lollipop announced at CES 2015

HTC Desire 320 isn't the only new smartphone that the Taiwanese tech giant has announced at the CES 2015. HTC has also unveiled a new flagship Desire-series smartphone during the event dubbed as HTC Desire 826. The Desire 826 features similar design pattern as the Desire Eye, but sports an Ultrapixel front camera instead of 13MP one found on the Desire Eye.

HTC Desire 320 isn't the only new smartphone that the Taiwanese tech giant has announced at the CES 2015. HTC has also unveiled a new flagship Desire-series smartphone during the event dubbed as HTC Desire 826. The Desire 826 features similar design pattern as the Desire Eye, but sports an Ultrapixel front camera instead of 13MP one found on the Desire Eye.

According to HTC, the Desire 826 will be available in four colour options and will go on sale first in China followed by other-Asian markets starting late-January. There is no word on pricing details yet. HTC has also listed the Desire 826 on India website, hinting that 826 will launch in India too.

On the specifications front, HTC Desire 826 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 1.7GHz octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense 6.0 UI on top. The smartphone measures 158 x 77.5 x 7.9 mm and weights 183 grams.

Other specifications include an 13MP rear camera with LED flash, Ultrapixel front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with expandable using microSD card and 2600 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 4G LTE Cat4 / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX and GPS.

The Desire 826 also comes with dual front facing BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio surround sound support.
