As the MWC 2015 tech show is nearing, the upcoming models are leaking. HTC has already announced that it will be hosting an event on March 1 and now, alleged One (M9) smartphone has leaked in gold. The newly leaked prototype clearly shows the large squarish camera cutout at the back of the device and it is likely to house a 20.7MP sensor.
The newly leaked photos also show the inside of the device revealing a machined metal body and wireless antennas (below, grey bits). While none other than these details are known about the upcoming HTC flagship smartphone, it is expected that the firm will launch two variants of the device – One (M9) and One (M9) Plus respectively. The possible aspects of the these devices include Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7 UI on top.
It looks like HTC will not only take the wraps off its flagship model at the upcoming event, but will be unveiling several other devices as well. As per @upleaks, the Taiwan based tech titan is working on a high-end Desire smartphone codenamed A55. The device is likely to arrive with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and employ a MediaTek MT6795 chipset with octa core processor and support for 64 bit computing and 4G LTE.
The alleged HTC A55 smartphone is claimed to boast of a 20MP primary shooter at its back with LED Flash and a 13MP or 4MP UltraPixel front facer. The other aspects that are to arrive with this smartphone include BoomSound speakers, less than 3,000 mAh battery and connectivity features such as Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz & 5GHz), GPS with GLONASS and dual SIM functionality based on the region. It is said to arrive pre-installed with Android 5.0 Lollipop skinned with Sense 7 UI.
Upleaks reports that the HTC A55 will launch later this February 2015 in White Rose Gold, Gray and Brown Gold colors. Talking more about the HTC M9 Plus, according to @upleaks, HTC has ditched the HTC Hima Ace a.k.a HTC M9 Plus in favor of the upcoming HTC A55 Desire smartphone.
In addition, HTC is also likely to launch a fitness band wearable device early next month at the MWC 2015 tech show codenamed HTC PETRA. We need to wait until the show to know what HTC has to roll out of its sleeve.
